  1. SLEEVEMEUP- I knew all those were a scam but one day, we will invent the cure of stretch marks and be bajillionaires
  2. Eeeee! That's so exciting. I know that approval was the worst wait for me! But when it came through, I felt invincible! Congrats!!! See you on this side soon
  3. Everyone says a must is to get a blender- I say add a crockpot onto that list.
  4. My nut gave me some work on the five stages of grieving and at first I didn't understand. But I do now, it was like losing a close friend, that I loved and relied on. One that was always there and has been taken from me, by my own doings. Keep your chin up, find comfort in exercising and meeting people and going to a support group.. Just wait on the husband to come around. You are a beautiful woman and unfortunately u need time to heal and come to the new you (I know I hate things that take 'time'!) you'll do great, love
  5. Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!! So exciting!! Good luck, you'll do great!
  6. I love this post! At first, I was like, what? But I read on and you are so right! Congrats!!!

  8. That is SO exciting! I am happy for ya, and can't wait to be on that side myself!!!
  9. That is so exciting! You truly an encouragement for me
  10. I know yogurt has some protein in it that makes milk more tolorable, and my NUT pushes yogurt a lot, so I can see that having a good effect on being able to drink milk
  11. I'm right with you IMP, it tears me up to waste food, not eat everything on my plate! We are always taught to clean our plate. I try to half my things before hand if I can't eat a whole something (like yogurt) so I end up under eating because I can eat 3/4 a cup of yogurt, but by splitting the one cup of yogurt in half, I eat less, and have some for later
  12. I was a bundle of nerves, but you have worked hard and this is something you will not regret!
  13. Chili, chili, chili... White chicken chili, regular, turkey... Mmmm. I work 12 hour night shift and I throw all my stuff in the crockpot and take a nap. When I wake up, my house is filled with amazing smells and yummy food. And it's freezable and fridge safe
  14. Oh, Patrick... It's ok- Mexican is my downfall... I would go out right now and down shell-less tacos if I could.... But just start over again tomorrow And just make it a new day
  15. Darn... I think I'm gonna make spaghetti squash soon. Do u think it was noodles? Sauce? Combo of all the above?
  16. I've heard from some Pts, aveno skin firming works good- but it's mostly the rubbing motion that gets things circulating and firming. Scrub with a loofa to get the dead skin cells off, that will let the new stuff out.
  17. I feel the lactose part- most definite...
  18. I'm glad u have an appt tomorrow! I'm sure everything's fine, but better safe than sorry.
  19. There are some foods that's 'shoot through' at an ungodly pace- I guess u can call that dumping, but like I said, it ain't like bypass (thank goodness) or at least not the severity of bypass... (or smell, no offense to bp people)
  20. Puking=not dumping. Dumping usually refers to the shooting of a food into the toilet bowl via bottom. In the bariatric hospital where I work, it is different
  21. Jealous* I must find some...
  22. Now, I know if I shake up a soda n leave it n the fridge, it goes flat- would u be able to do the same with that?
  23. I could down liquids- eat whole thing of yogurt, have a whole Popsicle... Then mushie food- I hat two baby spoons of tuna, I felt it. Then you know- there it is. I was wondering about my doc too, but boy, I feel it now
  24. It goes kinda to a new normal. But it's an adventure to see what ur sleeve can handle
  25. Dang, now I'm worried to try hummus.... I don't like the runs
