To Fill Or Not To Fill???
I'm in same situation...not losing and I have just about 30-40 pounds to go. I don't want to fill stuck, had been in green zone but creeping to yellow zone. So, I think a fill is due here in July soon. Again this will put me in a restriction I'm not sure I am ready for. But I want to lose too. The gym has helped but scale not moving. My clothes are looser. Size 24 to a 14 almost 12 on some. It's a tough decision cause I like that I can eat most of the time without stuck episodes.

Band Regret
I would love to add that I've been banded since 12/10...down 81 pounds but I am also in a plateau. Sure, I'm frustrated but I also think hey, I could have never lost this without my band...so think of this all in little baby steps. I am slowly coming out of the green zone and heading towards the yellow zone. I may need to get a fill, a small one. Possibly mid July. Am I ready for another fill, I'm not sure, I've been able to eat better but not losing this week. I am walking and working out. It's such a balance with this band...take the journey and hang in there we definitely have our struggles.

Can't Keep Water Down
- Am I Crazy For Wanting Lap Band Surgery?
Ummm yes. Ignore it! I look at my family and see that parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles all heavy some having bypass others lapband...health issues for those who didn't. Yoyo dieting. For the first tone in my life the band has helped me stay in control of my eating....no regrets and I don't care if anyone thought I was crazy. I did this for me and my family and life.- Lapband Vs. Gastric Bypass
Your surgeon can help you make the decision that fits you:)- Lapband Vs. Gastric Bypass
I have a sister who had bypass, she is now going to do lapband over it. So no surgery is fail safe. I am a quantity eater so lapband worked for me as it is a tool that also says stop or else. I like that our body still gets good nutrition. I like the fact it can be unfilled or reversed in the event a health issue arises (cancer, etc) this is crazy but I have kids and I liked the mortality rate lower with lp.- Lapband Over Bypass
My sister had bypass around the same time carni wilson in San Diego. Now, after weight gain is considering lapband over bypass. Her daughter is having it done tomorrow. I am truly excited for both.- Okay Im Going There.... How Long Before

Try natural Arnica (rubs on) and liquid Tylenol. But always check with your doc if u have concerns, they are pretty helpful.- Exercise And Water

If you are only barely a month banded, you are probably going through a range of emotions plus your body is also going through physical changes including healing. Follow the rules, stay hydrated, consult with your doctor about your feelings, but just remember you are still new. I am 15 months out and there were days I questioned my decision but now no regrets in happy. I hope you feel better soon:)- Bleeding
Don't be straining too much with excercise, daily tasks, laundry or lifting. Hope all is well...take time to heal:)- In Mourning
I completely empathize and can relate to this death we have encountered, maybe a divorce from the food we know before the band, a tiny depression or sense of loss from what we thoroughly enjoyed. I'm a social and emotional eater, a happy celebration personality. I've had to adjust to this journey. I have taken a liking to excercise (crazy, right?). I think my second year of banding needs more support as we continue forward.- Is Anyome Elsr Having Trouble Using Iphone Lapband App?
My I phone lapband app working now:)- Unhappy With Lap Band
If and when (hardly ever) because i an learning that I can't eat bread, rice, or Pasta, I would end up sliming and throwing up. Of course these are not on the list to eat, so I avoid these. Plus these foods are what got me fat in the first place. I noticed that I do better on a low carb diet with no slider foods, plus low cal sweeteners only. It's tough and I have episodes but also know I eat too fast, too big of bites, and don't chew as well. These all are skills I have to constantly remind myself.- What Are Good Foods To Eat What Should I Put On My List To Buy.
I can eat turkey, fish, very tender filet mignon, chili, other Beans, lots of things. What I can't eat: white bread, rice, Pasta, iceberg lettuce for some reading, no fried egg but poached or scrambled. Can't eat drier chicken.- Huge Nsv!! Wearing My Engagement Ring For The First Time In 4 Years!!!

It seemed to me the first two months my body was healing and I had all sorts of pains. I stayed in full liquids, followers the rules, had lots of gas pains and stomach pings while I was healing.- Stomach Pain!!
I think you need to check with your doctor. My fills were gradual. This may be too tight for you. - Am I Crazy For Wanting Lap Band Surgery?
