WOW thanks for sharing your story... Congratulations on your weightloss so far and the will to keep pushing regardless of what comes in your life. I am so proud of you for not letting the diagnosis stop you from living because you have worked very hard the last year to start living again. For the bible says ALL SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH....always remember that and I love the quote will definitely be using it... Wish you continued success on your journey... Blann
  2. Nope you are not the only one I am 9 weeks post-op today. I have lost 42 pounds and continue to have stalls but I am still losing major inches all of my clothes are falling off me. I can look at myself naked now and not feel nauseous...(lol). Even tho the scale is moving the inches are falling off.... Don't say only 30 pounds because that is still a major accomplishment. Start working out if you haven't already and continue eating right and the scale will start to move again.... Wishing you the best
  3. Congratulations and Happy Birthday. I noticed that you have not experienced any stalls..what's your secret?
  4. No you are not crazy you are just ready to complete the process!~ I had something much worst happen and after all of the frustration it finally hit me.... EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! Take this time to just get all things done for the pre-op diet, post op, hospital stay, taking to family members about helping with your little one while you are in the hospital! If you haven't already. I was put off for weeks and when I say weeks it was probably 8 weeks from the time the paperwork was finally submitted til I ended up being approved for the gastric sleeve!!! Believe me in the end all things worked together and I came out with a better surgeon and the sleeve! It will come together don't get discouraged and get ready because it will be hear before you know it!!!! I am not 15 days post-op and doing great....Praying that they get their stuff together for you and just be patient... it is well worth anything you are feeling right now.... Keep me posted Blann

It sounds like you may know what could be stalling you with the munching but isn't that what you are going to do but just with healthy food since your stomach is so much smaller... I am just wondering. Don't be down on yourself because you have don't awesome just stop the munching and if you do just eat foods that won't make you fall off the wagon. Best of luck to you

  21. Hello MKB I am having my sleeve done on next Monday, September 10th. I am becoming very anxious at this point but I know without a doubt this surgery is for me. How? I originally began my journey wanting the Lapband. I went they that process for a year only to be denied by my insurance company!!!! During the process of appeal I was encouraged to find another doctor. I found De Marema at my initial consultation he told me about the sleeve. I had never even heard of this procedure until then and that was July. After praying about it researching it watching tons of videos and finding this forum I know without a doubt the sleeve is for me. All of my life I have done what made everyone else happy. I am now 40 years old and tired of living a life that I did not want. I am doing this for me.... No regrets and anxiety is normal but I am going to do this because I know it is the right choice for me
  22. Good morning and I will be sleeved on next Monday a week from today! Yes it is normal to feel like you feel. I am dealing with very little support from my parents and last night I had to just get away for a little while to think! My parents each have a lunch box that they keep their medication in.... I love them but I don't want to end up like that. Remember what brought you to this place. Remember how you feel and how you know you will feel after the surgery? This is for your health and don't let nothing keep you from doing it. Sending prayers your way and I know you are going to do great
  23. Congratulations on your weightloss so far!
