  7. Saturday I made it to underland I am 199.4. I thought it would never happen for me and I was actually telling myself if I never get there that I’ll be fine with the weight that I’ve lost so far. Well now that I’m here I’m back in the game, ready to focus on my goal, my doctor would like to see me at 160 but I think that I might be comfortable at 180 or 175, but this might just be me doubting that I’ll ever be 160 and healthy. What a journey this has been, what a trip. No regrets I love my sleeve and I could not have made it this far on my own. I hope you all are doing well thanks for the support.
  8. I think we are all different. I just came back from Honduras and I had no issues eating locale foods, although I admit this was a concern that I had. I really haven’t had any issues with foods. In the 1st few months I didn’t like meats but now that‘s not an issue. The only problem that I had when I was traveling was not being able to eat all the yummy foods, 4 bites in and I’m done….
  9. What an inspiration you are, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to watch your progress through VST. Congratulations!

  12. I agree it is sad but true, IDT it is in your head.
  13. IDT that it is possible that you stretched it out this 1 time, although you did just find out about a bad habit that will allow you to eat more. I suggest going back to no eating 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after drinking. Don’t be hard on yourself you are learning new habits and it takes time.
  14. You are still so new, it gets better, right now be kind to yourself and I like the suggestion of drinking tea, but also try to treat yourself lovingly without food. There are going to be days that you have to cry its ok its part of the process. Take it easy on yourself.
  15. Well at lest you are making out in the laundry room, I am still looking at her from across the room! Congrats!

  17. That is so awesome what an inspiration. I have just this past weekend started a walk/jog routine and I can’t believe that I am doing it! I was never physical and I hated pushing myself past my comfort point before, but post surgery is all about redefining myself and so far so good. The only problem that I have today is my legs hurt…

  20. WOW well done!!! Good job!
  21. Welcome sounds like you are doing well, I would recommend getting some yoga pants to wear around the house while you recover, I had a pair of black ones and I was able to wear them to work without looking to bad…LOL! Keep us posted on your progress.

  23. Getting control over something that ruled your life and made you feel horrible is a wonderful thing…I couldn’t have done this without the sleeve, I know how you feel!
  24. Yes I love them, they are good when you are on the go and have a busy day.
  25. You said it right this is a "marvelous journey"! Keep up the good work and keep rocking that sleeve!
