  1. I woke up this morning feeling absolutely happy!!! Had a fantastic week( away from the scale lol). I went out with my sister on to a local sea food place. I had some fried fish and fried jumbo shrimps  I have a strict rule against fried food, but I just felt it and it was so GOOD!!! Almost at the six months mark and loving my sleeve so much more  Here are a few silly, goofy pics!
  2. My husband has a bike! one of my secret dreams is to be able to fit on it lol!! you just gave me the best idea ever! I want to learn how to ride
  3. Thnx!.... only thing is, now I don't know what to ask for lol!!
  4. CowgirlJane said it all!! Measure your food, make sure you eat high Protein meals, eat your protein first. Once you are done, that is it. Teach yourself to only eat what is in your plate during meal time and that is it. I used to confuse thirst for hunger. So stay hydrated. Drink plenty of Water. My NUT says to wait at least 30 minutes after a meal. And not to drink at least 30 minutes before meal time. With time you will build a nice routine! be patient
  5. you are almost there!! don't give up, stay focus
  6. Congrats!! Shopping is so much fun now

  9. So sorry about all the stress that you are under ! The end of marriage is never easy. Having a child makes this even harder to deal with. But you are right, you should still reach your goal. Go back to basics! measure your food, high protein meals, low carb, plenty of water. Also start taking your vitamins and supplements. Keep your calories in check. With all that stress, exercise is your best bet right now. IT THE BEST STRESS RELIEVER!!! I really wish you the best. Hope counseling will help you and your family move forward and find peace.

  14. Today I could not stop smiling I am so HAPPY I got the sleeve done!! I know that I get frustrated when the scale does not move. But the truth is, I am still losing. I went from wearing a size 28W to a 22W WHAT A JOY!!!! I am going to stay away from the blasted scale and LIVE LIFE AGAIN!! I went to an event today. I walked in the room and for the first time, I did not scan the room to see if I was the biggest on there. I walked in, took a seat and didn't worry about my butt not fitting in it. or worst, breaking it. The last time i went, I stood the entire time, fearing that I was going to embarrass myself.... I AM FREE!!!!
  15. WOW!!! great job!! As soon as I have my baby, I will definitely have a tummy tuck and breast lift/augmentation. I will deal with my wings and thighs later. I can already see that I am going to have a lot of loose skin, and I am not carrying that around. No way!! I can NOT wait

  18. welcome to the site!! Hope things progress rapidly for you
  19. Are eating enough enough Protein during your regular meals? maybe you are not eating enough and that might be the reason you get hungry shortly after a meal. If you are consuming 3oz of meat for example, maybe eat 4oz now. Also, are you drinking enough Water? If you know you had a well balanced meal, and felt satisfied afterward. But one hour later want to eat again, drink water instead. For a long time, I misread my thirst signals for hunger signals. If you are bored and feel like snacking, get busy. Find something to do and drink your water.30 minutes later revisit the feeling and see if in fact you are "hungry". If you still want to eat something, pick a high protein, low carb/cal snack. I try not to give in to my cravings as soon as I get them. If I feel "hungry" less than two hours after a meal, I always grab a glass of water first. Forcing myself to wait the mandatory 30 minutes waiting period before eating, that my doctor taught us. He also stressed the fact that our meals should be plan. He wants us to balance meal time/water/protein supplement/meal time/water/exercise/water/ to help cut back on snacking. Good luck!!
  20. six pounds away?! girl you are an inch away from your goal!!!!!

Once you start exercising, you will start looking forward to it. Pick something you like, pick set days and time. It will become a routine for you. And when you don't do it, you will miss it. I use to think that was crazy talk. I do NOT like to exercise(my 348lbs body was proof of that). I started exercising on a regular basis, and when I skip a day, I feel so bad and guilty!
