Hands Off
I thought I was the only one It was VERY cute at first, but now it's like, GIVE ME A BREAK SIR!!! My mind is so busy with food choices, stalls, scale not moving, cravings, the last thing I need is to have him harass me all the time. But with that said, deep down inside I am glad that he is showing me so much attention! Love the guy

Help! I Can't Stop Grazing :(
Are eating enough? are you eating enough Protein? also, are your meals scheduled? So your body knows exactly when to expect food and not be on the look out for it. Finally, are you drinking enough Water? That helps curb your cravings. I start drinking 1hr after a meal and stop 30 minutes before a meal. Although I am back to work a pretty busy schedule, I eat at the same time every day. That way I control my appetite and don't go too long without eating. My NUT said over time, my body will learn to only expect food at a specific time and not send hunger signals until then. But I have to be consistent. Also, I carried my snack with me. But I only allow myself the treat on horrible/bad days. On those days where the outside stresses just over take my better judgment, I have my favorite Cherry Greek yogurt  with me. I only eat it when I am in a bad need of a "fix". That's my treat. Do your best to stay away from the bad stuff. Keep building good food judgement. You can do it

Slow Weight Loss
I feel the same way! but the reality is, every pound lost is a step toward my goal. I get so caught up in other people's pace, that I am not noticing my success so far. We are all going to lose differently. I just make sure that I am doing the right thing (protein, water, low carb, low fat, low calorie) and my body will do the rest. Hang in there, we are slowly but surely getting close to our goal

Struggling With Hunger
I do worry about that! and I REFUSE to go back on my old habits!!! I see the damage that I caused. I know I have a strong addiction to food. Like you said once I realized that, I did seek out the help of a therapist. My health insurance do cover family therapist. So I signed up with one. You will benefit from it. I benefit so much from my session. I learned how to manage my stress, how to cope, how to "see" food differently. So yes, I do encourage you to find a therapist. It will help you stay on course. We can beat this!!!!

My Husband Thinks I'm Copping Out
I gave up explaining to people why I did this. I agree with Swizzly, time will show him there is nothing "easy" about this route. It's a major and drastic approach to weight loss. But I will add, exercise plays a great role if you want to take full advantage of the procedure. Find something you like. For me it's walking. It's easy, simple, effective. I never liked to exercise, because I got tired so fast, could not do much, and felt so self- conscious at the gym. But the more I lose, the more I am able to do, the more I want to do. I put on my favorite music and just get going on the treadmill or the park. Good luck on your journey.

Weightloss Stall Everytime I Lose A Few Pounds . What Is Going On ?!?!?!?
this is the part of the process that I dislike the most!! I can deal with not being able to indulge in my favorite foods. I don't mind giving up sugar, bread, rice, pizza and fast food...I had the surgery for this purpose. I do mind the fact that I gave up 85% of my stomach and have the scale not budge for weeks!!!! I get down right angry!!! I follow my eating plan to the letter, and when the scale does not move, I feel horrible:(

Husband Sabotaging Weight Loss',,,,,bstrd
That is a hard situation to be in! but you can and will make it. Make sure you let him know how his actions are impacted you. And he's making it so much more difficult to fight your cravings by having unhealthy food in reach. Reminds him of why you did it. But also, remember you did this for you. This is your journey. This is your fight. You need to make changes for yourself. If he supports you, great. If he does not, you are still in charge of your body and what you eat. You can still chose what you eat, how much you eat, and how that will impact your weight loss.
