  1. The pain WAS NOT bad at all. The first week was a little rough, just not feeling great... But now, at 3 weeks out, it's much better and I think I I am so glad I did it. You can handle anything for a couple of days, right?
  2. I don't know how... But I can't wait to see the pics!!!
  3. All of my meals seem snack-like these days...
  4. What's an example of a "snack?" what's an example of a "meal?"
  5. Good job! Enjoy your time off!
  6. Read it all! Great thoughts! Please post when you add to it!
  7. I knew you were serious, but I have not noticed this... And I hope I don't become a smacker.
  8. I think it's imagined...
  9. You can totally do this! You have a 10 day liquid pre-diet through Abington? Mine was only 5 days...
  10. Thanks. Helpful! If I feel hungry all the time, should I be on one over the other?
  11. I have heard people talk about using an acid-reducing medication. What are some generic and non-generic names for those acid-reducing medications? I am on something called famotidine. Is that a ppi?
  12. I, too, have had three C-sections. While I was sore for about a week after the C-sections, I was not sick. With the VSG, I do not feel sore at all. But, the first week I felt very sick. Just not like myself. It's apples and oranges.
  13. Good luck! Sounds like you are on the right track!
  14. I JUST bought a big tub of the Nectar Fuzzy Navel. I HATED the milk-based shakes and actually can tolerate this one as a juice.
  15. Food , well liquids, just don't seem to go down well. Will this improve?
  16. When did you have your surgery if you don't mind me asking?
  17. Hello all, I am one week post op now and I realize that it is still early out; however, I cannot imagine right now eating ever being comfortable, or seeming natural. Do you remember this feeling? Does it go away? Is eating comfortable and does it seem natural now? Thanks, M
  18. Thanks! Helpful observations!
  19. So glad you are feeling better. Me too.... I am also 5 days post op. Hopefully today I will be able to get in all of my H20.
  20. Hello everyone... I just had my surgery on Wednesday, June 20th. I am having trouble getting in my liquids. I take a small sip of a liquid, and about 10 seconds later, I feel a gas bubble surface. This is uncomfortable. It makes me dread drinking. Will this feeling eventually go away?
  21. I quit all caffeine before the surgery because I thought that I didn't want to be battling a caffeine headache at the same time I was trying to learn how to eat differently.
