Nectar Protein..

You guys tried it? I'm thinking out looking into it because a juice instead of a milk shake would be awesome. Any reviews are very welcome. :)

They are ok :) I found they were the best mixed with Crystal Light Lemonade! I would recommend sticking to the sample packs, I didn't like any enough to buy a big canister.

I JUST bought a big tub of the Nectar Fuzzy Navel. I HATED the milk-based shakes and actually can tolerate this one as a juice.

I got the Isolate/Lemonade, it's ok. It tastes ok. I like the isolate and they also make a lot of products that are Aspartame free. Doesn't mix all that well and can get foamy, so I mix mine in advance, then store it in the fridge until I drink it, by that time, the foam is gone.

They are good, I have the cappuccino which is pretty decent. I recommend trying their sampler pack so you can try the different flavors. I haven't bought a tub because I would probably be tired of it before i could fnish the tub but I do get the 12 packs from Amazon.

What are some name brands?

It's when someone gets to the 100s in weight. One-derland

There is a thread called learning the lingo that has a few of the terms you see in this forum.

I would suggest buying the sample pack. I think it was 13 pack for $13.00 plus shipping. I liked them fine before surgery, but I couldn't stand them after surgery. Not their fault....almost everyone's tastes change after surgery.

(Grateful05: Onederland is when you drop into the 100's on the scale i.e. 199 from 200. It's a great place to be!)

I use nectar for Protein drinks about 80% of the time. My favorites are Roadside Lemonade, Lemon Tea, Natural Peach (not the same as Fuzzy Navel), and Cappuccino. Pink Grapefruit, Apple Ecstasy, and strawberry Kiwi are also good. But I would agree in trying the sample pack before buying the big canisters, everyone's taste buds' are different! I like them because I really do not care for the "milky" based vanilla or chocolate very often, so I prefer the fruitier flavors.

I make mine with (filtered) Water, sometimes ice, in my Blender Bottles and they always mix just fine. I get the foam sometimes, too, but it goes away pretty quickly.

in the food forum , under places to order samples you can find the phone number for Sytrax Nectar. Just call them and tell then you want to get the sample package.
