The weight will come off. Please be sure to keep yourself hydrated and get in the protein. allow your body time to heal. I went into a 6 week weight loss stall. I was so discouraged. However, I knew this for sure that I had overcome the biggest challenge and that was getting the operation done. Try not to eat anything outside of what is approved by your physician. Stay away from any sugary or too salty items. The weight will come off, you have a tool to assist you with portion size. Now all you have to do is make healthier protein fortified food choices. Make sure you set up an account online to track your food intake when you start eating food. Get in lots of water and be encouraged the weight will come off. Also do not discount the inches loss. During my 6 week stall my pants became more and more baggy. You will succeed and stay connected with others who have been where you are and understand your struggles. This site is a God send. :)

The great thing about our new tool; for me is although I may feel hungry, I can only take three or four bites before I am totally stuffed. Sometimes it is a little frustrating but at the end of the day this is why I got sleeved because I did not know when to stop eating.

Do you know that God loves you? Do you know you have a purpose on this earth? Do you know that we all fall down at something? Your strength lies in your ability to get up. A 20lb weight gain is not enough for your friends to be ragging on you about. Maybe, you use the term friends to loosely. You've had your share of struggles. Exhale and love you. You deserve a good, healthy life and it is worth the sacrifices you've decided to make.

I too needed advice from this post. I am going to increase the amount of Water and Proteins I am getting. When I was trying to get in 64 oz of water I felt bad everyday but the weight was continuously coming off. I walked over 2 miles today. I too had surgery on April 16th. I was told that I could increase my food intake to 3 1/2 cups per day. I realized yesterday that is too much. I will however stay on the Protein shakes and lots of water and decaf tea. I really hate sugar substitutes all of them have after taste to me. Maybe I'll go agave, honey or plain when making my tea.
Sorry got off topic. Anyway be encouraged you have dropped more pounds than I have and this surgery is too serious to give up so quickly. We can make and it feels good to speak with others that understand.

I was sleeved April 16th and nausea is definitely a problem. Try a liquid anti acid it will coat the lining of your stomach and make sure you are not drinking too fast or too much. It will get better.
