you need to get a chill pill..........we all have been there with pain and thinking WTF did i do...if you are having chest pains and short of breath, dont wait til next week to see dr, call them on phone and tell them. you need to let your body heal, take your meds to help with pain and try to rest. again, you just had major surgery. please relax. you are doing fine. hang in there okay

like mis and mell, i drink one in the mornings as i am tight and not hungry in the mornings at all. my dr also knows i drink one and he is fine with that also. i say do what works for you as long as you get your protein. i happen to enjoy my protein shake so i do not mind,

sugar is mother nature.....man did not make it.....same with pot TMF is right. sugar is empty calories. best to use SF to be on the safe side.

agreeing with the above poster, i also had a hernia repair and i also had a slight tightening if you will when i swallowed or even took a deep breath. it did not hurt but was somewhat uncomfortable. it does get better as you heal and the swelling subsides. hang in there and congrats on your surgery. all the best to you

this is normal. it happened to me (i had a hernia repair also). so i think as the days past, you will be able to take deeper breaths and not have it as uncomfortable as it is now. i promise, it will get better. congrats on your surgery. just follow your dr's instructions. rest as much as you can, sip sip sip and then rest some more. have a great day and keep positive.

well, whats done is done. just dont do it again missy the pre diet is to shrink your liver and get you ready for surgery. you cant beat yourself up because we cant change what happened. you are not a failure. you acknowledged what you did, you confronted it and now you are moving past it. that to me says something. new day.....new beginning and now you just do your best

megan you are doing so very good. your positive attitude is quite refreshing. please do not ever get down on yourself. you hold yourself up my dear. stop comparing yourself to others who are losing faster or more. That is them......you are you. and you are wonderful. as for one being our childrens teacher, i thank you for that. for its people like you who taught my son how to read/write. for that i am most grateful all the best always.

sorry, my post was entered twice--tried to delete one

i had the band and plication and am super glad i did. it makes me feel full after about 4 oz of food. per my surgeon, the blood loss part occurs if the plication is up near the banding. if its done down lower, the risk is less. there was no way in hell i was gonna cut my stomach/intestines. that was just something i was not comfortable doing. it seems to be working for me and i highly recommend to anyone who asks me. and fyi, all wls surgeries have risks. even the sleeve.

i had good shoulder pain from like day 3/4 to day 8 post op. i find that on occasion, i sometimes feel a pain in my left shoulder now. it doesnt last long but i can feel it. it was the same as my post op pain and the shoulder. i must move it around and if i am bothered, take some liquid tylenol. i sure hope you feel better soon .
