  6. I would limit myself to no more than 1 cup per meal, and3-4 meals per day.
  7. No tanning for me! I had had too many basal cell and squamous cells removed. I currently have a bald spot from one on my head.... NO fun! I always wear sun screen and a hat even in winter! I am very pale and people will just have to live with it!

  9. The port is the last to fully heal and can cause problems if bumped, even now for me, one year out. Good luck on your weigh in, I predict success!
  10. I agree with this post! What you save in surgery costs you may end up paying in aftercare.
  11. With co-morbity factors like diabetes, High blood pressure, PCOS you may qualify depending on your insurance. The lowest Is generally BMI of 35 and yours is 35.7. On the other hand, there are many who had the surgery with lower BMIs. Talk to your GP and see if he thinks you would benefit.

  16. Cottage cheese, tofu, beans... etc. Check the forums list. I believe there are posts on vegetarian bandsters.
  17. Dry mouth is common. Restriction will come. Just focus on healing for now and drink lots of water!

  19. 1 Cup is a good measure, and yes you sometimes need a good imagination to visualize it smushed into a cup! LOL. I am assuming you did liquids only for 24 hours after the fill?
  20. I just checked and it is unflavored, unsweetened almond milk by SILK. b I also like the vanilla. It has 30 calories/cup. Very little Protein, but that's what the powder is for.
  21. I eat small servings of popcorn, but never the hard seeds that partially crack. Never had a problem, but I will be interested in what others post.

  23. Flat diet soda tastes the same without the fizz if you really need a fix!
