7Mos. No Fill
I know that the doctors want us, the patients, to do the heavy lifting, but if you can eat more than 1 cup and get hungry in less than3 hours, it sounds like a fill might help. The caution is to expect all the work to be done by the fills. This is a life style change and it is going to go on for the rest of your life. Plead your case and show the facts! Good Luck!

First Fill
Congrats on your loss and good luck with your fill. Doctors vary, so ask yours what you should eat immediately after a fill. Mine is liquids for 24 hours, then soft food for 24 hours and back to regular meals. Yep... 25 pounds can make a huge difference!

Talk to the doctors about your situation. We cannot help with complex medical questions, it just would not be fair to you for us to guess or speculate.

My doc had me on 2 oz of protein shake at the top of every hour, and sipping other liquids the rest of the hour. If you do that all day. you will get all the protein you need during this recovery phase.

Everyone has different skin, some more elastic than others. I would wait until the weight loss progresses and see. Most people will have some extra skin, but it sure beats too much fat!

Question About How The Band Physically Works
Most bites you chew properly will sit in the band for less than 1 minute, which is why many docs recommend waiting between bites. It all moves down to the stomach, just slower. The point is that it can trigger you filling full faster. Slider foods pass right through, so have little effect on satiety. Ice cream is not a good food in general, high calorie, high fats, low Protein.

Intergestion
Indigestion is not uncommon after surgery.
