Port Location?

Just checking on the most popular port location... I know all docs are different just wanted to see other people experiences with where their port is and if they were given a choice of location.

On left just right below rib cage.

No choice in the matter.

Middle of tummy, half way between belly button and boobs.

Didn't have a choice...didn't think to ask either.lol

About an inch up and to the left (if I am looking down) of my belly button.

mine was at my waist but I had it moved in 2010 to about 1 inch below my belly button on my left. I like it there much better.

1 inch right and two inches above my BB looking down on my tummy. No choice in location but I did choose the low profile port.

Mine is located just below my left rib cage, I wasn't given an option either... Seems to be ok so far. Only time will tell how it works out :)

Off to the right above belly button..they put it there now incase you want a tummy tuck..they wont have to move it..

two inches to the right of my belly button. Surgeron decision. no problems

a few inches above and to the right of my belly button

I never heard of surgeons giving options...

About 4 inches straight above my belly button. No choice for me either. Very small scar and only visible scar that I have.
