  1. No he hadn't checked the level everytime I went. And I didn't go since april up until a month ago. I was fine until I had the small unfill and then I lost almost all restriction.
  2. I didn't have an issue until I went from 6 to 6.5 then I went back two days later for an unfill of .25 . I almost immediately had no restriction. I waited three weeks to go back for a fill. This is when he checked the Fluid and only 5 came out. He put back 5.5 I go back in a month to see what the level is. I'm so not happy about this. I've only had my band for 10 1/2 months. He really downplayed it and doesn't think its a leak. But where the heck did all that fluid go? I read that sometimes not all the fluid will retract out. I dunno. I'm tired from worrying about it. :/
  3. I've only had my band ten months..and I have heard of evaporation. Still concerned.
  4. Is this possible? My band lost some fluid but the doc said its probably not a leak..I was supposedly at 6.25 had my level checked and only 5cc came out. The fluid was clear and he said if it was a leak I would have lost more fluid and the fluid wld be yellow not clear...so what gives?
  5. This is the purest form of whey protein isolate you can buy! Good choice!
  6. Wait six weeks ro return to normal on all fronts was the rule for me
  7. I waited about 5 weeks..now I drink whatever.. whenever I want!
  8. The hairloss is Telogen Effluvium a side effect of trauma or a shock to your system including anesthesia and rapid wt loss. It happened to me starting at 2 mos post op and lasted almost until 6mos post op. It's horrifying. The good news is it does slow down then pretty much stop. Nothing you take will stop the cycle. You just have to let it run its course. Hang in there.
  9. I drink when and what I want..just like before. It doesnt affect me any differently. Only it will loosen things up so I can eat more after a drink ,only thing to be careful about besides extra calories of course.
  10. I find this hard to believe too. There no way I was eating those foods just weeks after surgery either.
  11. It really pisses me off when I hear about Dr. Offices that won't give an appt to someone who is suffering!!! It takes less than a minute to perform an unfill! When I called a few months ago with an issue they told me to come right in. That should always be the case. If your doctor doesn't provide that level of care I suggest finding one that will.
  12. Soda. I have had only had a few sips since surgery over 6mos ago..I don't miss it.
  13. This could he allergies and congestion that builds up. Any solutions to curb morning tightness?
  14. Fleet Suppositories....kinda gross but work awesome!!! Relief within minutes
  15. My understanding is my 10cc band holds 10cc not 14.. Sounds like you have a 14cc band?
  16. Nothing at surgery.. @ 6 weeks 4cc..im now at 6cc in a 10cc
  17. It does take time to adjust but you should be able to keep water down. Call your doctor and good luck!
  18. So why are you eating meat? You just had surgery less than a month ago?
  19. I never heard about this happening..tell us more
  20. Not eating unless you're hungry!! Why didn't I think of that! Lol!!
  21. I never went to my pcp. I went straight to the surgeon i wanted. I didnt have any medical conditions but my bmi was 41. The only thing they got from my pcp was a 5yr wt. history..I had bcbs at the time and surgery got approved based on bmi.
  22. I would say its not a good thing to get completely unfilled unless you have a medical issue. I would have wanted a small unfill if i was too tight..which i did have once. If all my fluid was removed it would be like starting over. Unless you only have 1cc then i guess its not a big deal.
  23. Ive been drinking my calories too! I got addicted to mcd's mocha frappes.. flavored coffees..I recommitted too since I gained a few lbs now im trying to get back on track...what are your band stats? I have 5.75 in a 10cc.
  24. This is not good...I would be very upset...how much was your band filled to and what size is your band?
  25. Best wishes and definitely ask your surgeon about all your unanswered questions..good luck!
