  1. I have had two fills and neither time I wanted to vomit. However, I am one of those lucky devils whose port turned just slightly. What does this mean? It means that they have a devil of a time accessing my port to fill it. This entails multiple tries and a little bit of pain. It was nothing my doc did wrong, it's Just the way my body healed. I'm sure it's all worth it, it just doesn't feel like it at the time, lol.

  6. I was banded on Nov. 1st. I was at the doctor on Thursday and actually ASKED to get on the scale. I was down 13 pounds!!!! I was so excited! I could tell I was losing weight but had no idea it was that much. I feel so empowered!
  7. I was banded 11/1/12 and from the get go, I think I've been feeling hunger pangs all the time. I'm still on liquids and I feel satisfied after I drink but quickly feel hungry again, but its a different feeling than before I was banded. It feels like hunger but I really have no desire to eat , which is a total shocker to me. Has anyone else experienced this?

  9. Hello all, I had my surgery on November 1st. I'm so glad to find this site and all of you. Generally, I am keeping my surgery private but found that its hard to really talk about to those who are not going through this process. I've gotten a lot of "we support you (but not necessarily the process)". I look foward to getting to know everyone!
