  1. I am so excited for both of you! I think another good question is how long will you have to stay in the hospital? How long until you can lift X amount of lbs? And I second the specific diet plan. You need to know what your next steps are.
  2. Wow, you don't even look like the same person!
  3. That's amazing. You must be so proud.
  4. Day to day is pretty good, except by 7:00 p.m. ish I am pretty wiped. However, I am doing good fluid wise, but my surgeon thinks I might need to get more since I pretty much drank a gallon a day before surgery and now I am only at half of that. He thinks that and the surgery maybe contributing to my water retention. Food is good, I can't eat more than 1 or 2 oz, but I love that full feeling so quick!
  5. That's awesome! Such a great milestone. Congrats!
  6. Doing good! I am back up to speed, and so far I have lost 16 lbs. I am so happy. I mean with pre-op, that puts me over 43 pounds down! All my incisions are pretty much done healing and I am on to soft foods. The scale hasn't moved for me in a couple days, but that's okay. I can't even remember the last time I was at 213 lbs!
  7. Lol, I know what you mean. I just started my soft foods and I am already sick of tuna.
  8. That's awesome, lady! You are a success.
  9. The only way I can stop myself is breaking my food into microscopic pieces and chewing the crap out of it. Otherwise, I swear I am going to throw up.
  10. Great post! I am so happy you both are doing so well.
  11. You look fabulous! Congrats!
  12. Haha, that is awesome! Congrats. I had to pull off this stuff that was on my incision on the belly button too. It was keeping my wound open. Soon as I pulled it off, not a day later the incision closed.
  13. Yay! That's awesome. I think that is NSV in my book. I agree with longer-life, I hope I have a moment like that.
  14. Work it, lady! That is an amazing NSV. I can read your happiness from here.
  15. Thanks, it is a fun name. It has also been great keeping up with the All-Stars since y'all are only a month ahead. You provide a lot of great information and questions.
  16. Haha, love it! But for real? I would have to have breasts to begin with, but yeah, I've lost some breast mass, but they look perkier! Lol.
  17. I just started but I've made chicken salad, tuna salad, deli meat with cheese, cottage cheese, baby bel light cheeses, eggs don't have as much protein as the tuna and chicken, but they are so yummy. Also, tilapia is really good because it is really soft and flaky.
  18. You can do this. The only tips I would recommend is really, really, really, learn to sip sip sip and chew chew chew. It is killing me right now as I transition to soft foods.
  19. Lol, I am so happy for you! That is an awesome NSV!
