Looks?
Hello guys Please do not take this question as me being mean, but I have to ask. When i visit my doctor or go to my support meetings, I see a lot of people who have had the sleeve that are excited about their progress and that is great, but a lot of them are what would still be considered chunky by society. I realize that a lot of these people needed to lose 100 sometimes 200 pounds but are they finished? I know they have improved and don't need meds or bipaps to sleep and that is great. They have extended their lives by a great deal, but strictly aesthically speaking is this as good as some people get? Left with a belly or pounch but healthy? I guess im just wondering what to expect for myself though I know everyone is different my vanity keeps me picturing myself as 180lb head turner getting tons of attention from the ladies. I see some people on here who look like totaly different people (Lilmissdiva and Tiffykins come to mind) and I wonder why some people have those kind of results that transform their looks and other people just lose enough to extend their lives?

Kids say the darndest things
I love these "my kids said topics", There should be a section for just good kid quotes. Even the mean ones are entertaining. My 3 year old son told me I couldn't ride in the backseat with him, because I might break the car. LOL. I guess after my sleeve and he gets a little older I can get revenge on the basketball court.

Yeah, I hate those charts! And the language is horrible MORBIDLY obese, SUPER obese? What is that like a fat superhero? Like you said you are happy and thats what matters!! If you don't mind me saying, I don't think you need 50 more lbs at all. You look slim and curvy, which we guys love. Keep doing what youre doing.

Spouse or Sig other
I would agree that the thread has taken on a two part question vine. It seems it's both the emotional attraction and the physical attraction are two distinct entitys. Its intresting to see so many women who are SO commited to their spouse through better or worse. I would love to hear from some guys on the subject, us being more superficial and all . But keep them coming ladies, lots of insight!

Sleeve 4 me You sound like you really love your hubby, but are you still gaga for his body now?

Spouse or Sig other
Myrori Thanks for being so honest. I dont think that it makes you a B that you feel this way. By your description it seem like it would be hard to cope for anyone. And seeing someone who has no desire to help themselves is even more stressful.

Glad you all are enjoying the topic. All of your insights have been valuable. It's good to know that personality seems to reign supreme and the looks seem to come in second. Keep them coming!

Thanks for the honest reply. You said your new paramour has bad eating habits. If the day comes when he is no longer active and packs on the pounds do you still see yourself being attracted to him physically not emotionally?
