  1. i wished we could have a way to check ourselves,,,
  2. I got stuck like never before yest on bite of scrambled eggs. - the problem- is that I did vomit like one violent deep burp- but with it the worse shooting pain that went all the way to my arms and fingertips and back? in a few minutes I was able to finish breakfast n been sore above my port for most of the day. Took some tylenol and just had a salad which went down afully easy? Could i have popped my band? the pain is gone, just a little sore, but i was bit sore from Fri work out at gym.. no other symptoms except the salad went down with NO fight and that surprized me. anyone?
  3. the chriroprator twisted me like a prezel n sent me on my way. said i was over compensating on my left side. I should feel better now, let see what reg Drs say about knees. did water n reg circuit with weights,,, no zumba yet. sigh
  4. Noone here has mentioned where their band is... I have not lost anything in 3 mo- but only at 5cc or close to that... anyone?
  5. donuts are bad,,, never again for me... they swell like cement- I think you are eating too fast but also the carbs,,, tortilla, donut- crackers etc do NOT do well with a band. try eleiminating those things and really chew and see if that helps.. papaya pills sometimes make it all go down. OH I do not eat well at all when I have sinus... and feel like a fish in a bowl of water..
  6. good luck on your journey -some do better than others, Im probably older and with the blessed thryroid issue. that does not help
  7. I hate plateous.... hate them cause you do everything right and nada,,, then you get off the plan and still nada,, and then you upgrade on your plan n still nada,,, see Dr for fill in Sept.. at 5cc now so and guess it's time.I was hoping to do this on my own by now,,, ???
  8. not even close... not sure what happens when you don't... noone has said.
  9. Coughing could be a cold, sinus, allergies, not always the worse, a band problem. I hope it is NOT- let us know.
  10. I jump about a little thanks God no one has caught me at work doing it yet, but if it's mild it will drop in , if not out it must come.. the papaya pills are a charm.. I have noticed for me the sinus'allergy season is murder. Today i was able to eat just fine- Ate the same thing last week with my allergies going nuts- I couldn't swallow it with out getting stuck.. weird,,, but we learn as we go..

I just ordered a pair of dancing sneakers for the knees, I did have bad shoes for those workouts, hope this will help the ole knees. I was wearing flat sneaks so I could pivot --BUT no support,,, ouch
  12. Ok last question lol- should hit the support meeting more, but they are so out of my way,,, anyhow, this is about gurgling when I start eating, sometimes first bite kinda rough, but then the gurgling begins, I dont know if my next door cubicle can hear it, but i have t walk around a bit before I can continue to eat. Being short waisted n sitting down- seems to make it hard to eat at work...At home no tight pants or leaning over a desk so it seem to be easier to eat. Once I burp etc I am ok. I do notice I eat sooo much better when I have no gas in my tummy. Its like a war between air and food! Anyone?
  13. Yes I see my doc aug 13, and prob ask for a referral to a knee Dr. sigh.. but maybe more pool time, for now instead of step weight training-,,, I also ordered some better shoes for the zumba. I can control that by not making some of the crazy moves with the feet. I can see that the sneaks I wear felt good for the zumba but no support at all. I also made an appoint with chiropractor as I feel I am over compensating to one side, almost 60,,, but determined to be as healthy as psssible,
  14. Congrats!
  15. I have noticed in the last few weeks everytime I eat- I get hot- almsot when I used to eat hot spicy foods. It just happend with scrambled eggs, nothing more, Is this a sugar spike? I notice it more with foods that take longer to go down...
  16. I was doing my water classes and then moved up to zumba- recently started the step aerobic weight training which I love- but started feeling acky around the knees which now have become crunchy ( im 59) and little sore, NOT sure what to do- some say its the shoe,s others say it the weights, anyone?? If I stop doing my gym work-outs aghhghg--
  17. Fepblue is pretty fast 5 days norm, but yes- call in and make sure all is there and make sure the rep checks everything as the paperwork goes to a diff dept. and some don't like to persue it or check all the notes, They said I would know in writing, but my rep told me on the phone n then I called surgeons office to see if they had the approval which is faxed to them. Good luck!
  18. was told off the list too..? so was broccoli,,
  19. you will! and just keep pluging at it,, it will come off, and you will get even stronger
  20. Great news dawn--, Dec 22, 2011- 41 lbs... still have 40 more to go-- short of my 1/2 way mark at 6 mo,,, but will keep plugging at it, 4.5 fill
  21. Every body is different, metabolism, types of food we eat, types of exercise, and age etc. I think my thyroid slows me down, just did blood work again to regulate it, he has decrease dosage, and age is also a factor, I am almost 60 with crunchy knees, can't get that hyper with the rest of the group. I am discouraged today because I have been working hard, and it might be humidity, but scales up 2 lbs for the last week... sigh.. I have 30 lbs to go, but things have slowed waaayyyy down in the loss dept.
  22. 7 mo out the last 5 lbs have been very hard to lose, I hit the gym least 4 x a week and eat about 1000 cals, a day- at 4.2ccs I deterred my fill till Sept because of lack of $$. I do feel restriction many times, but can eat pretty well. I think my body has gotten happy right where it is,,, and my knees are starting to crakle n pop so worried now that I may hurt myself trying to increase my exercise.. I did change the diet around and types of exercise to more weight training, but now what?? I'll take any suggestions.
  23. It does go away at least it did for me. banded Dec 2011, the way you eat and what you eat , sip or use straws- and even time you eat,,, I do a pro-biotic every day. helps keep everything moving and Papaya pills to help break it down sometimes. MY bigest culprit- vegetables.
  24. Found out that if you are having SINUS issues- this is creates havock on that swallow,,, once I started treating the sinus post-nasal etc. I was alble to swallow easier again. I am very short so my new tighter jeans also seem to give me issues on swallowing,
  25. I have them and add ketchup to make them easier to swallow,,, I also have refreid beans for protein on the side,,
