I had one fill and next trip he said NO, I had lost 6 lbs... If I hit my goal of 6 lbs this mo,,, dont want another fill,,, If I can keep losing weight at min. of 5 lbs a mo, I'll stay put. The restriction is NOT constant, but I figure- less fill less chance of band problems???. If my thinking is right. ? Today i had my first famous burp incident. Never again if I can help it... can't talk and eat at the same time! anyhow, unless a fill will make me eat even less,, then where does this starvation mode take precedence...I am lost?

Glad you are out and about, this first week is the worst- count the days be nice to self walk n drink those fluids, sorry they were mean at the hospital

YES AND i NEVER THREW UP ANYTHING BUT.. stomach will be irritated- watch what you eat - liquids, mushies, soft foods nothing spicy. let tummy calm down. now it's swollen and mad.

The world will go on... I decided tp follow in a different journey and happy with it. My sis is same height and can't make 100 lbs unless pregnant. It is what it is. I try to join the party and events but pick the better portion of healthy food.

Good for you- I too had to force feed the gym but it is getting better. Its the routine of getting clothes together and towel etc,, I live on higher floor, so i bought this shopping thing with wheels and another duffle bag for pools tuff,,, and i have 2 to change... I dont have a washer or dryer in unit, so I can just swap out and take with me in am/ and when I return along with lunch bag etc etc etc, feel like the bag lady.

NITE grazer- I am not hungry till after dinner. and matters not what I eat -the munchies come on like if I was smoking pot. SO there is nothing in the house except some raisin bran cereal- which I will do 1/2 a cup now. I did have some carrots and some wholewheat oven baked crakers,,, but have tried NOT to buy anymore. Living at the gym more has helped. Now i come home beat and do not wnat to even move from the couch to get a craker. I think changing the routine is what is helping me. Good luck!

I did not get a 2nd fill either. So i guess i must work harder to drop the next 5 lbs. - congrats!

I think people like the miralax, i did what my Dr told me- milk of magnesia cherry flavor- cheap, works great and still have to use it on occasion and I am back on pribiotics, I bought a pill crusher at wally world and eat with something FAST. and yes lots of water,, thtas hard for me in winter, but im trying.

how many fills.. you are doing great,,, i am going but slowwwww been trying to increase gym time.cold weather not my friend and they say i was very low in vita D which kept me tired and low so i hope to have more pep! you are an inspiration!

They did the same thing to me-- spread gastric bypass,,, I never said i had anything done except hernia repair which is true, I am loosing slowly, and they see me eating kinda normal, just that I am on a diet of sorts. They actually cornered me, in how much did you lose, when did you have surgery, and I went on about hernia. They over it by now, I was flavor of the month, now some gal quit -she will be the flavor for a while. I really do not care, but you must NEVER feel you need to give anyone any explanations for bettering your health. Never - ever- My ex told me> - what they eat- should not make you s..t.- move on with a clear mind and head UP! Congratulations on your valor to get the band.

I went to visit # 2 and no fill either- I did lose 4 lbs since last visit and he was happy with that. guess I will have to do more work myself, gym etc. I was correct in saying slow loss is better physically for myself, My bloodwork came with very low VITA "D" I need a Hawaiian vacation!!! I knew I needed to be out more. COME on Spring!

The mind thing, is I still have a problem only cooking for ONE. I cooked over 30 yrs for a whole family, 4 men and usually a visitor. I am boxing up all my big pots and pans n sticking them in the closet as its a nice set and dont want to just give away. I hope this will help me in making smaller amounts that later I do not feel I need to eat them, in order not to throw away. I absolutely hate throwing away food, but been doing so more and more. Trying to find that combination of cooking good food but less portion.

How you know it has slipped? I heard immediate slips can just mean an unfill.

Rest 5 days minimum. lots of water and walking and for me the milk of magnesia rid me of all the other pains I was having the 1st 2 weeks... anyhow CONGRATS!!!

May they take good care of you and all go extra well. It will be great. Keep your expectations level, takes a few days to get self right. You will do fatastic!

Oh it will happen again, some times you eat one thing just fine- get a fill and wham! Now eggs are my enemy.., I made 15 bean soup tonite, with tiny ham pieces, and I use the H/beach hand blender/ and make a cream soup out of it, that and my crock pot that softens all my meats,, it helps!
