There is no new guy. I don't need anyone for financial reasons. my BF and I USED to have a lot of fun, but he's been really depressing lately. He knows I am not looking for marriage but then again, neither is he.

My bf can have all the sex he wants but he is still treating me like he's forgotten all about me. I know he's going through a difficult time in his life right now, but it would seem to me that's the time to lean on someone he says he loves, rather than pull away and act completely distant.

Welcome Pedro. I would love to hear some words of wisdom too. I only have 5-10 lbs I would like to lose, but I have been at a standstill this last month.

My son's dog has his name. It means "bad ass" in Spanish. The waiter at the Mexican restaurant named him. We call him Dito. He is a chiwauwa (sp?) Welcome again!

Geepers, I lost my weight with the band, and I still have no desire to shop at Vicky Secrets. There is a post on lbt that is "why does skinny not fix it all?" I can relate to that. I am not skinny, but I am not nearly as fat anymore. I wish I could just feel good about myself, but I don't think at any weight I ever will.

I was looking at airfare, and it's a lot of money to spend right now. I had to spend a bunch with everything I went through with my dad. I would love to come but I can't see it just for a weekend. :sneaky2:

I don't think there is anyone around here that does pin up photos. I could look around though. Bill and I had a really serious talk Saturday night, and I thought things would be better, but it's been more cr@p this week.

I don't know. I know several people who appealed twice and finally got tired of waiting and went to Dr. Aceves in Mexico. He's a great dr. and it's the best money I have ever spent.

What are you drinking? Are you able to tolerate any of the protein drinks?

The sleeve is way better than the band. You will be really happy to get that band out of you. I really worried that I would be too late and not be able to get revision surgery. The band can ruin your stomach to the point that you can't even get revision to a sleeve, so I got mine out before that happened.

Oh Tiff, you have been through so much. I am so sorry to hear you had to go through more complications. I am really glad to hear from you. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way.

Dr. Aceves is one the most experienced Drs. of anyone. He has more experience than most doctors in the U. S. The hospital is extremely clean. They are always cleaning. They came in and cleaned my room at least 3x per day. You should call the number to the side of the screen. Most of us have been sleeved by him and his wonderful staff. We all have had fantastic experiences there and I have not heard anyone complain about anything. Go to the forums and read our stories under something like "tell your story'

I looked online at the dating site and it tells if the person I was talking about has been online. yesterday it said has been online this week, and today it says has been online this week. That means he hasn't checked in on that dating site. That makes me feel a little better. I seriously doubt that he hasn't checked his email though.

I am happy to report I successfully ate beef for lunch today. My friend is Korean and makes the best food.

I would have been bored stiff with 4 weeks off but that's just me. It is a little difficult to get used to the post op diet, so if you think you can do that easier at home, go for it. there are some people that really have trouble with nausea, so the extra time off is nice for those folks. I have a friend that's a nurse and she took 3 weeks off, but decided to go back early and used her PTO for something else.

I wish I lived close to Dr. Aceves. That would be really cool to be able to see him easily. Glad you figured it all out.

You know the situation with Bill, Vegas. He's been treating me like shit lately. I thought it was a committed relationship, but tonight he told me he was going camping with his brother his weekend. We have hardly spent any time together the past few weeks. I sent you a message on fb for you to look at the picture. It's like a year old, when I was probably 25 lbs heavier. Could you take a look at it? Tell bearded to look at it too, and tell me what you think. I am ready to tell Bill I want to start seeing other people, because he doesn't seem to have time for me anymore. If the picture looks lousy, I am going to find someone to take some newer pictures of me and sign up for match or something.
