Ignore, ignore, ignore. It sucks that they suck, but u can’t change them any more than they can change you. If you can’t just physically leave the situation, just let them say their peace and reply with something like “you are right, i’ll think about it”, or something equally non-commital. People love being told they are right. Then change the subject. Good luck! ❤️ We are rooting for you!

2013 was my VSG I was 369 before that surgery I’m 240 now. Over the last year or so my Reflux has been crazy. I am not a huge fan of waking up aspirating at all smh!!! I am scheduled for Hiatal hernia repair, partial gastrectomy and Roux Y Gastrojejunostomy. 4/5/22 I am so very ready to be done with this Reflux :)

    Dreaded hair loss - question

I personally just went through the hair loss part of my journey. Mind you I had very thick long hair, I got worried as it came out in huge handful wads at times. I felt like a shedding animal but I can tell you it ends an then it’s growing back already. My hairdresser noticed it was thinner but nobody else has noticed at all. I was worried an watched a few videos an read a lot but in the end I just didn’t distress my hair any further than it was. I did not color it during that time an I didn’t put it up as that seemed to weigh on it an I had worse shedding after a pony or bun. That is just my experience an as I said it’s growing back already

4 month anniversary today. My BMI is just over 30. If you had told me in November this would happen I'd have laughed in your face. 💚 Also - Happy St Patrick's Day!!!!

    Pre-op is NOT liquids

I was put on a keto diet plan by my dietician for the 2.5 weeks pre surgery & I was ever so grateful. One friend was on 3 shakes a day for two weeks while another was on 2 shakes plus 1 high protein low carb meal for 4 weeks. Which ever plan you’re given stick to it. It starts the process of re-examining your food habits & making better food choices so you can take the best advantage of your surgery. Good luck with your surgery & on your journey.

I went to blossom and the price they stated is the price I paid. They were very professional and I have not received any additional bills.

    New GERD diagnosis

I have had GERD for about 30 years, literally. I have been on some old school meds, and then on a PPI for about 19 years now. Even post VSG, and losing all my regain, my GERD persists. yes I am still taking a PPI. I've been on them all: Protonix, Nexium, Prevacid, Aciphex, etc. I was told that after all my loss if it still persists then yes, RNY revision is my only option. I'm now 4.5 years post VSG and STILL hoping it will clear up...
