Thank you I do still have some pain on my right side which my surgeon's PA said is where the largest incision is and where I had adhesions and scar tissue from my sleeve. She told me it would take longer to heal because they stitched it very tight to prevent abdominal hernias. It is mostly ok but I still get pain bending there so inflammation is possible. Menstrual cycle it's hard to say. I am 40 so could be in perimenopause but I have a Mirena IUD which mostly stops my periods. I drink mostly Gatorade zero, powerade zero and propel because that's what has tasted the best since revision and miralax mixes well. I do ok on hydration getting 40-50 oz a day. My gastroenterologist has me do two caps of miralax to prevent constipation and it is working. I do feel like #4 is what makes most sense. I think I dropped water weight rapidly due to the shock of surgery and bounced back up. As long as I don't keep gaining weight I'm fine here. My weight would fluctuate pre revision between 142-145.

I also had a lift with no implants (I was tired of having big boobs. I'm very happy being a B cup size!)

    THE DREADED STALLS!

it's the infamous "three week stall". Almost all of us experience that. In fact, if you do a search on this site of the three week stall, you will find about 17,000 posts on it (and no, I am NOT kidding!). Just stick to your program and stay off the scale for a few days. It'll break and you'll be on your way again. It usually last a week or two - but for a few people (a minority) it last for three. And just so you're prepared, you're likely to hit a few of these on your journey. It's a common part of weight loss...

How funny! That's my one year anniversary date! I agree, screw that BMI scale! I was shocked when my family doctor told me I was okay to get my knee replacement now. I said, don't I have to wait until I lose all the weight first? He said I was ready now. He kept telling me how good I was doing. Made me feel great! Best of luck with your surgery!

I'm never going to be in the correct BMI band and, to borrow from my other mother tongue, j'm'en câlisse. I just want to be healthy. I just didn't know if there was some number the doctor or insurance chose out of thin air. If I had to pick my number, I'd say 240-250, though that could change if I lose a bunch of muscle mass during the dreaded six weeks I'm disallowed from touching a barbell (argh!). That would give me a BMI of 32.5, so still obese by that useless measuring stick. I'll be the obese guy with abs (obscured by loose skin, LOL). I got my date today—September 14—and got a heaping helping of my anxious questions answered by my super-awesome scheduler. I'll meet with the surgeon F2F once, and have a few things to do (blood work, etc.) before the date. I'll have to have a Covid test even though I'm fully vaccinated, due to the spread of the Delta variant.

    Daily Calories

I agree with everyone else 300 seems low. I am to stay between 600-800 for the first year. My Nutritionist told me it was fine to break my meals into 2 meals so I eat 6 small meals a day and am losing. I am down to 207 from 245 and I am one month and one day out from surgery.
