    STALL :(

Yes, they do for sure. Don't let it freak you out- it is totally normal. It is your body adjusting to rapid weightloss. Expect and try to accept stalls as part of your process. (It's hard, I know!) It means you have lost enough weight that your body is taking a pause, but it is not a stopping place. When stalls do happen double check to make sure you are doing the basics like tracking calories, getting enough macros and water in etc. If those things are all on point, try to relax and know that this too shall pass... and you will be moving that scale number lower again before you know it.

    Psych appointment scheduled

Good job on the presurgery loss. I’ve been successful with mine as well. I’ve lost 53 pounds since I started my weight loss journey in May and people are asking if I need the surgery since I’m losing weight. I’ve struggled with my weight practically my whole life since my late teens. It always comes back. Even though this is the most weight I’ve ever lost. I have completed all of the required steps and just waiting for insurance approval. My doc is hoping to get me scheduled for November or December.

Well, the doctor is happy that I lost the weight (I had gained about 15 pounds) and has put me back on the yearly check. My primary doctor does bloodwork and checks everything every time I go to see him. I guess I will stick with my surgeon still, he is a great surgeon and I respect the mans talents. As far as the support group, I think I am done. It was great while I was active in it, but it just repeats every year. We have a plastic surgeon come in one meeting, the program head shrinker another, the vitamin people another, a holiday party in December, and pretty much talk about the same things at the other meetings. Plus there is only me and one other guy in the group, the rest are females, so everything is geared towards them. I get it. But I am not getting anything out of it.

Hey there, glad to see you! Congrats on 3 successful years. I know you feel like you don't need this. But between years 3-5 is kind of like a "witching time" where you can suddenly start to gain for no good reason. Please consider staying with your doc on your scheduled plan. If for no other reason than to check your vitamin levels so you stay healthy long term. It can take around 3-5 years for vitamin and nutritional deficiencies to show up. No lie. Your health is worth it and in the long term it might turn out to be the smartest decision you've ever made. Wish you'd stick around and post. Sorry to hear of your BIL. Cool car, though! Yay, you!!

Love this!! Here is my list: 1. Crossing my legs when I sit 2. Wearing high heels 3. Posting pics of myself on facebook (right now it's just pics of my kids!) 4. Going to high school reunions, weddings, funerals...basically all the places I currently avoid for fear of running into someone who doesn't know how fat I got since high school. 5. Buying an outfit b/c I actually like it, but b/c it's the only thing that fits. 6. Going to my husband's work parties, etc, and not being embarrassed for everyone to see his fat wife (he is very good looking and I know people expect him to have a thin, beautiful, wife) 7. Wearing stretch pants to go to the gym, not b/c they are the only thing that fits. 8. Being a healthy role model for my children. 9. Keeping up with my husband, doing physical activities, hiking, bike riding, etc. 10. Going to a party or restaurant to enjoy the company, and not focusing on the food.
