    Is this too much??

actually, that is kind of a lot given your starting BMI. Congrats! But like the above poster said, it's going to really slow down after the first month, so just know to expect that..

OK - I understand now. With that longer intestinal bypass part, you'll have to be REALLY diligent with your vitamins. It's going to be even more critical now because you'll be even more prone to vitamin deficiencies than you were before. Good luck to you, by the way...hope this does the trick for you!

My surgery went very well! I came home on Tuesday evening and the pain is getting better but still lingering. Trying my best to get my protein shakes in, but they just don't taste the same. I use Orgain mixed with low fat lactose free milk. I'm required to drink 16 oz. I was able to get in 14ozs yesterday. Also tried just a little water, jello, and 8oz of broth. I'm glad I'm able hold my liquids down. My goal today is to get my full 16ozs of protein in. What flavors of extract have you guys tried in your protein smoothies to make them taste better? VSG with a lower BMI

I went throw Kiaser and I did ask if my BMI got lower would they cancel surgery. My doctor said no! They would still offer me waightloss surgery. She said having surgery at this BMI is a good thing because I would be able to get under the obesity BMI and maintain it. I am excited! I am on day 8 and have lost 12lbs.
