You are likely stalled , on a Mini plateau or eating your maintenance caloric intake. It happens to a lot of us. Give it a few more days shake things up a bit like more water less carbs etc or just wait out. But diligently track your intake so you can see if anything makes or breaks it! Good luck 💜

Great pictures and great work! I'm just doing the initial tests, I had a lap-band for 9 years and had to have it removed. You gave me hope and encouragement.

    Unsupportive Caregiver

Sorry that she has been unhelpful but you can do this on your own, you don’t need a caregiver. When I got home from hospital I was on my own as hubby needed to work. Just do what you can for yourself and let the rest of the family sort themselves out. Hopefully you grocery shopped before your surgery so your fridge is full of things that you are allowed to consume at this stage. And don’t lift anything that you shouldn’t or attempt housework, just look after yourself and tend to your needs

    2 Weeks post gastric bypass

I had tugging pain and cramping in my abdomen near the incisions but inside. Your insides have been rearranged a bit and things are tender and hanging differently. I would be fine and then it would pull. It went away 3-6 weeks post-surgery.

    TERRIFIED of gaining weight

I've never watched those shows about obese people, but I too am scared of regaining weight. I'm only 3 months post-op and have lost 1/2 of the weight toward my goal, but I worry that one little piece of bread at lunch is going to make me gain weight. I'll just keep moving forward.

    Pre-op diet starts tomorrow

Dayna, my surgery is Jan 4 too! I am 3 days down and the worst part for me was the caffeine headache. Mainly day 2, today was better. Dr Doucette is doing my surgery in Huntsville, Alabama. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
