    No longer obese

Congratulations!!! Technically due to my weight and height ratio, I am obese but I am not morbidly obese and I will take that any day.

The most important thing is to get in your liquid. Find some liquid you can tolerate. Minimum of 6 cups a day but try for at least 8 cups. Until you do you will continue to feel really bad, weak, and dizzy. And it will only get worse. Some people find it easier to drink broth or flavored water. Or maybe try ginger tea. Try different things until you find something that helps. There are anti-nausea pills your doctor can prescribe to help. Focus on you, not the bullying. You'll be at a different job soon and you won't have to deal with it anymore. Their bullying is a reflection on them, not you. Until then distract yourself with taking care of yourself. This job stuff is just a temporary situation. Focus on getting your liquids and protein in, eating healthy and getting to a good place, mentally and physically.

    Just took pre-op photos

My son took mine recently. That's the good part of it, the bad part, I was slumped in the recliner, sound asleep and didn't have,my dentures in. So,although I could pass for 45-50, in this one I look every one of my years and more. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Emotional transition

Congrats!!! That's the thing that is IMPOSSIBLE for us to understand as normies before surgery! We simply can't compute a situation where we can cook normally for our fams and feel ambivalence about eating or tasting it! You know? I grilled a t-bone for Mr. F. last night and made smashed roasted cauliflower and sliced heirloom tomatoes and avos for him. He had a cab and this forking gorgeous meal and I was like, "Meh...that's a crap ton of food dude! Try not to eat it all at one sitting!" LOL. Then I had 1/4c of smashed roasted cauli, 1/2 sauteed chicken tender, 1/8c of brown gravy on the cauli, and 1/2oz of avo. I was so full! LOL. No deprivation or lingering cravings for his meal!

    Pain management post surgery

I had morphine in my IV too. Didn't ask for it, they just put it in there! lol. I was sent home with Tylenol liquid with codeine. I'd say the pain was about a 5 for me. I didn't feel the need to take the Tylenol when I got home. It's really hard to believe part of your organ is missing and you're not in that much pain.

    NSV

So last night I'm partying at a club in Rome and a lot of guys start dancing with me one after the other. I was really flattered by the attention for sure but the REAL victory is that I danced the entire night from techno to hip hop and everything in between. I was not even tired...next level [emoji356]
