Don't worry! According to my surgeon and what I've read, it's next to impossible to stretch your stomach. What has probably happened is you're fully healed now and swelling has gone down, so you're able to fit more in. Also remember that a tuna sandwich is pretty soft food, so we can eat more. I remember at 3 months I had a really big tofu sub and I was surprised I could fit it all in! Just make sure you're taking small, slow bites (one per minute) and you'll be fine.

First Weigh In Since Surgery :)

Hello everyone. So today was my first Post Op appointment. My surgery was Jan 30th 18. I am proud to say I am down 15 pounds!!!!!! HW 235 SW 230 CW 220 I was feeling a little discouraged and down this past week because giving up food was hard for me but this definitely gave me that confidence I needed! I’m happy to say I don’t regret this surgery! Looking forward for the future! Would also love to hear anyone else’s stats

ValerieZ smell them first. If they've been lurking in your cabinet (especially if they're open), they may have gone rancid. And rancid PUFAs/oils are bad, bad, bad. It's super easy for hemp hearts and chia to go rancid. Just a heads up.

    Hypothyroidism? Anemic?

Before surgery I was having way more down days..the pain was excruciating and lead to severe depression. Since surgery things have improved. I would much rather deal with making sure I am consuming what I need to control my health issues than to let my health issues control me. It is a process but I would not change a thing since surgery..well maybe faster weight loss but that will happen in due time...lol Sent from my SM-J327T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Advil after surgery

Was told no ibuprofen. It eats your stomach. Use Tylenol....you can get liquid.
