    All By Myself

I lost 6 pounds in August. All by myself! I did have a fill, but i don't notice any difference ... so that means the 6 pounds I lost this month were all on my own! I am so happy. This really motivates me because if I can lose six pounds all by myself, imagine how much I will lose with my next fill ... maybe 8 pounds! I can't believe I'm losing weight. And I can't believe how happy I am.

I wanted to FINALLY post a pic. The before picture is a couple days after surgery...probably about 300 pounds. In progress photo is my current picture (on my way to the gym) at 208. I am 5'6" My highest weight was 311 before surgery, but got down to 298 on my 1 week liquid diet for surgery day.

    Disappointed

You sound depressed. Talk to someone about it, like your PCP. Consider some counseling. Basically you have two choices: accept the current situation, or change it. (remember, accepting something doesn't mean you have to like it.) This process requires a good chunk of patience, both before and after. Good Luck!

I am one month out today. My stall began last week. My weight has been hovering between 203 and 203.5 this past week. I haven't weighed less than 204 in 3 years. I am thinking this weight is a set point. I am sure there will be other set points where a stall will happen too. It is very frustrating because I am walking and hardly eating anything. I know that I am still losing because my clothes are looser. I hope by this next week, the stall will break through and go below the 200 mark. Wishing really hard!

    Invisible Weight Loss

They might not notice... They might notice but are afraid to say anything... No worries, you do this for you. Me, I have the opposite problem. I've lost 80+ pounds and I still seem to look the same to me despite what others say...

Thanks for posting your day-4 post-op update. I plan on doing the 8oz./hr. shake routine and have Unjury chicken and WonderSlim chicken soups to balance out the shakes. I also have the Unjury unflavored to boost over the counter diet foods and supercharge sugar-free Jello. DietController software is my food/nutritional log that I use as my diet speedometer and keep track of what I am eating and managing my protein drinks. Thanks again and please keep posting updates because they help pre and post surgery bloggers. Have a great Labor Day but avoid the BBQ!
