I am enjoying a yogurt smoothie, and will be enjoying some tomato soup for lunch! I never thought I would be so excited for these food items, but I am!!! I read my post-op handbook three times just to make sure I was allowed to eat this week. Just thought I would share my excitement!

    Tomorrow Is The Big Day!

Boy, time sure did fly! I submitted to insurance on 1/18 and was approved 1/20. Surgery is tomorrow at 9:15am! I have to stay the night because my doctor requires it, so what did you guys pack to make the time go faster? Books? Cards? Computer? Any advice on what to expect right before and right after surgery? I'm so excited!

I Just Really Love My Sleeve

There hasn't been anything I've put in it that it doesn't like (that's a plus) I get a definite signal when I'm full (RARELY physically felt full before surgery) so no overeating Haven't had any issues with acid Haven't had any issue with pain. I feel satisfied at every meal. Its just a huge change. The steroid issues I had are getting so much better I have lots of energy. I am just finally on my way back to health. I almost feel like i'm turning back time.

feel that at 199 is isn't as hard to lose weight as if u are 250-plus as someone 199 pounds. People can move easier, there for lose weight. I'm at 194 and very happy. I wouldn't never get the surgery at this weight, it is a life changing and it has risks. But even with 190's I am still big and unhealthy weight, I feel I can do this.. lose this weight, so that's why i can say I wouldn't get this surgery at this weight, b/c I'm there 194. feel that at 199 is itsn't as hard to lose weight as if u are 250-plus as someone 199 pounds. Just Dance!

Well I'm totally committed (or my husband would say I need to BE committed!) to exercising. I know that the scale staying at 18lbs lost for a week was because I needed to get up and shake what my momma gave me! I am doing Zumba on Tuesdays/Thursdays, but I was searching for something I could do at home. Low and behold, I bought the Just Dance 3 for the Wii. HIGHLY recommend! Everynight when my hubby goes to bed I get my controller strapped on to my wrist and I go to town. I'm sure if anyone was videotaping me I would go viral instantly because I'm sure that is a funny site to see! It actually lets you keep track of your week and your "sweat points". Not sure really what that means, but I'll take it! NSV of the week: Going back to work and having two boxes of Krispy Kreme GLAZED donuts on the table and not even having a desire to eat one!
