I would like to see an obvious way to report problems--I have a few and can't figure out how to report them or get support on resolving them. A link a long the top would be great. As long as I'm talking about problems, I have two: 1. Right now I'm not receiving any email notifications for new posts whereas I did in the past. I've checked my settings and it looks like I am still set up to receive instant notifications but I haven't gotten any all week--I have to go to UserCP to find the threads I'm subscribed to. 2. When the email notification is working and I click on the thread to open the new post, I have to log in again even though the link takes me to my last re…

I would really, really, really like to see a sticky of stickies. Stickies are important threads on this forum, and it would be nice to be able to access them all at one place!!! I have been searching for a specific sticky all morning, so coming to one spot to find them all would help with my efficiency (a new year's resolution:redface:)!!! What do you think? Thanks! ~cheri

I dont know how likely this is but I wish we could do our tickers directly through LBT instead of having to go to tickerfactory.com I love this site though you have done an amazing job!

Can we please have the date that a thread was started, not just the date of the last posting and can we also have a way of knowing (such as a colour/shade change) when we have read or been into a thread. This is a BIG site and I like to read as much as I can but I do get a bit frustrated when I find myself re reading the same threads over and over again, and missing the new stuff. Per Alex's request, here is my only suggestion for the board. I know I am not alone in wishing there was a classifieds area where we could post clothing for sale (or donation) for other members to peruse and purchase if they would like. Almost like our own personal ebay. I belong to another board and would be willing to show Alex or a moderator their classified section...(It's not for larger folks, or I would stop asking for this and just use theirs!!!) I am a newbie and would like to say that you should increase your font size on the first 3 or 4 threads. Since this area is a place a newbie should visit first before they ask questions that have already been answered they need to see it first! I did not see it first. My eyes tend to look midway on a page first instead of at the beginning.

I made a post in the introduction section saying hello and letting people know that I'm a filmmaker who is looking to interview people about their lap band. I kept looking for a subforum to ask permission from the moderators, but somehow or the other missed this one. I have no idea how. I guess I'd appreciate it if people would respect that not all of us like or use profanity in our daily vocabulary. Other forums I participate in don't allow it but people are still pretty creative at using symbols or substituting for a letter or two to get across the point that they are upset and want to vent. Just my 2 cents worth.

yup, me stirring the pot again... another forum i belong to has "the playground" which is a lot like RnR. in order to even view the threads you have to be a member for X months and have X posts. any thoughts on making RnR like that? things get quite heated over there and you need a tough skin... even though the header is prefaced with the disclaimer, it's been taken VERY personally by some newer members lately.

I was wondering if it would be possible to move a few of the threads from this forum to the FAQ and References forum (or just add another one to the other forum, leaving them here also). Many newbies do not scroll down this far, so the threads like: Avatars and Custom Title Issues, Ticker TUTORIAL (WITH PICTURES), and How To Attach a Picture to a Post could maybe be moved to the other forum with the Abreviations and Shopping lists, etc. It's just a thought, but if these were in the first forum, as you come in, maybe there wouldn't be so many ticker post in the other forums. My LBT is all smoofy now. Alex & Mods... I'd like to see a "Post of the week/month" thinger done. I mean, there are times that I see posts that are so insightful or so darn funny that the person just deserves recognition. Is there anyway that you could add the definition of these two curiosities to the profile interview? Maybe you could frame it as a question? Like "Do you know what a PB or Slime is?" Have the definitions or explanations included in the "Profile questionaire." Let it be a yes or no question. Then maybe have it so you can't proceed until you answer yes or no to the question. Of course there maybe a better way to address the issue and I am sure many of us are open to any and all suggestions. I've noticed that the times on the board seem to be about 20 minutes slower than real time. For example, someone will make a post and it will have appeared when I refresh a page that I've been on a short time, but it has a time stamp of 20 minutes ago. Is that something that can be fixed?

When updating my signature, I simply changed the weight lost, the style of the ticker, and a notation of inches lost. When I previewed it, it said I had too many lines. I moved all my other info to one line.....height-date of banding and inches lost---I used to have them on different lines. Still too many lines it said. So I made my ticker smaller.....still too many lines it says. I tried eliminating the excess space between the ticker and the other info, and it shows it gone on the preview, but then when I post it still has a big space between the 2. But still too many lines it says. So I began eliminating things!!! Got rid of my half inch I had lost, and fin…

Back before the layout change, there was a listing at the top of the home page, showing the most recent posts...it listed say the last 7 or 8 I think. When the layout changed, it dropped to the bottom of the page, and now I do not find it at all? Is it being moved again--or done away with altogether? I for one miss it! Kat

What is going on? The past few days the tool bar is solid blue. If I run the mouse across it, I can faintly see New Posts, which is where I usually check posts every day. Is that going to be fixed?

Hello, This may have been addressed before, sorry for the repeat if it has been...but I'm wondering if there is a way we could create a classifieds section where we could list and sell/buy our old clothing. Although some of our surgeons have this sort of system within their group, many do not. Creating this classifieds board would allow people to puchase gently used clothing in smaller sizes for a fraction of the cost of buying new clothing. Or, if a person prefers, they may give the clothing away and just get compensated for shipping. I run Firefox on both my PC and Mac. On both, the bar that says "Home UserCP, Gallery", etc has gone blue-on-blue. I can't see the text any more, because the text is down in the lower dark blue bar instead of on the light blue one. On Safari on Mac it's fine. I haven't checked on IE. Can someone in charge take a look at this? Thanks

This is going to seem like a silly request but there are a bunch of us who talk regularly over on a bicycling thread in the exercise forum. The OP is not aronud the thread anymore and well bicycling is spelled wrong in the title. Is there any way a mod can change it to the proper spelling? It annoys the heck out of some of us. I know we used to be able to change our User IDs but I see the option is no longer there. At least if it is, I'm not seeing it. Is it possible to change it? Hi im sarah and i was just wondering people who have had the surgery how long after did you have your first band fill. Its been 7 weeks since I had surgery and iim starting to feel really hungry. Trying to get in touch with my dietician is starting to be a nightmare. So im going to let her find me.

I was wondering if there is anyway you can make the avatar bigger? I know it is 50x50 right now, but you can hardly see anything. I've seen 100x100 on many boards, and its just fine. Could this possibly be done??

Whenever I edit a post, what I see is literally a smilie between every single letter, space, period, comma, etc. It's a sea of smilies! It's all the same one, but I can't remember which one. Why is this? It makes it hard to read so I've stopped editing posts! If they have typos, oh well! (This is very hard for me, being a spelling and grammar freak with fingers too fast for my brani!)

How about a forum for spouses of banders? My hubby is so upset that he has no one to talk to about this (I'm not telling anyone about the procedure). It would be awesome to tell him to go to a forum for spouses in which he can talk to other guys who have been there done that with their wifes.
