Hello, I have just had my second fill. I fill like two bites and it is in my throat. It is painful. Do I have something stuck? or just eating too much or too fast. Thank you for your help, ranchgirl

I got my first fill yesterday. I drank liquids for the firs 24 hours and then tried to eat a little tonight. It didn't take much and it felt like I had food in my throat. I ate too fast. I am so afraid I'll be on liquids forever. Any suggestions on what to eat. Hope all going well for everyone. ranchgirl

Hi Cerrin, I use a protein drink from a company called Naked Juice. I got it at the healthfood store, however some markets carry it as well. Hope you can find it. It isn't thick, I don't like the thick ones. Good luck. ranchgirl

As I understand it, one doesn't usually loose alot post op so don't get discouraged. Do excercise, start walking. With the protein juice from Naked Juice and the vitamins I have felt so good. Keep focused and I am so happy for you.

I had to stay overnight and I had the best sleep. I didn't want to stay, however I was really glad that I did. You will be so happy you made this decision. I am and wondered what took me so long.

Good luck on your surgery. Naked Juice makes a protein drink that really helped me get the protein in and also help with my sweet tooth. I haven't miss any of the foods I love, I feel hope and joy at the same time. I am 5 weeks since my surgery and have lost 20 pounds.

How do they know if the band has slipped prior to your fill. Do they xray?

callmejim. I don't know what the New band is. I will check with my doctors office and find out. I just know when they were planning my surgery they said I would be getting the new band. I do know that the bladder for the saline goes all the way around as opposed to the old one that would fill on two sides.. If that helps. good luck ranchgirl

beachgirl, try Naked Juice Protein drink, it gives you the protein you need. It is liquid. Hope it helps.

Thank you Claramae for your letter. I don't exactly know how to operate this thread thing. I am doing well, just having a migraine every day. It is a small one, however the fact that it is daily is worrying me. Has anyone mentioned having migraines. There is such a change to the body. I just don't know if has anything to do with lap band or if I have another issue. When do you get your first fill? I am not hungry, I am happy about that. Thanks for your email.
