If I look at it on the front page, it shows that I have posted on it recently...but I posted yesterday. Twice since then it's come to the top showing me as the latest poster and a more recent post time. However, I haven't posted to the thread since yesterday and the newer posts are phantoms that don't show up.

It's because it's a poll. Whenever someone new votes, it shows the last person that actually submitted a post, and it puts the time that the new person voted.
