Hey all! My name is Elizabeth, you can call me whatever nickname that comes to mind :thumbup:. I'm 26 years old and I'm from Staten Island, NY. I'm in the process right now of getting all my tests done (and there's a ton but worth it) before surgery. As it states in my profile I'm not really good at telling stuff about myself but I'm very open to answering questions. I look forward to getting to know everyone around here and I definitely can't wait to start posting about my progress in my weight loss journey!

You might want to check out the special subforum for people who are in their twenties...I personally like reading more about people in my age range because it's more relatable, y'know?

Do you have a date scheduled for your surgery yet?

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely check it out!!! I'm hoping I'll be able to have surgery by late April or early May....crossing my fingers!!

I am new as well. I was banded 12/1/09. I have to say it feels good to feel full fast and be able to concentrate on other things besides what to eat next.:thumbup:
