November 20th Bandsters!

I know there are a bunch of us out there! We're only 2 days away!

How is everyone doing with their pre-op diet, nerves, preparations, etc?

I realized this morning that I have a lot to do. Tonight I need to change out my closet to my winter clothes since I won't be able to lift anything greater than 5lb for 5 weeks!

I'm so excited for us!

I've been preparing for a couple of weeks but still don't feel ready - the next two evenings I have to be on top of everything. I'm not doing good at all with my pre - op diet to be perfectly honest. I've tried and I have been absolutely starving. Mine is supposed to be liquids with two fruits a day and that's just not working for me. I've cheated a couple of times because I thought I would pass out if I didn't. I'm really worried about the cheating. I hope this doesn't mean I'm not ready.

Chasidy, The pre op diet is hell. I get no food at all just Protein drinks for 2 weeks. I am 7 days now till surgery and have cheeted every day. I have spoken to my Dr about it and hes so casual about it all I wonder why I am even doing a pre op. But I eat whole wheat crackers every day around 4pm so I dont throw up. Just 2 crackers but its enough to get me through the night. What is getting me to sleep at night is the fat free sugar free pudding! Its sooo filling I love it! I eat "desert" every night at about 8pm and it helps me sleep. pudding is on my diet because I have an alotment of fat free milk, would that help you? When is your surgery?
