Just got approval today, how long to surgery date?

Hi All,

I just got approval today from my insurance co. for the lapband. I am meeting with my Dr. tomorrow afternoon. I'm wondering how long it takes from this point to get a surgery date? I think I have to do some tests first, no? My Dr. is Dr. Oliak in Southern Cal. Any input would be appreciated!

    Congrats on your approval. I got approval on 10/12 and had surgery on 10/13, although, my surgery was scheduled a month in advance. It all depends on your labwork and your surgeons schedule. My best guess would be 2-4 weeks. Good luck!!
