Crohn's Disease and Lap-Band

I have Crohn's disease and will soon (2 weeks!!) be having Lap-Band. While searching for posts regarding this, I only found some from several years ago (2006) indicating Lap-Band and Crohn's was a NO NO. My surgeon did not seem worried.... Anyone else out there?

They both say that Crohn's patients are NOT candidates. Have you fully researched your surgeon? It concerns me that he is not worried.
