Man, this site would have been nice at any point in my almost two year journey. But hey, found it now!
I've been banded since mid May and I've lost about 45 pounds. According to my surgeon anyway . I started this she-bang at my highest weight ever, 290. I couldn't let myself reach 300 at 20 years old. I just couldn't. Getting the band was seriously the best thing I ever did for myself.
I've been lurking and hesitatingly posting... you all seem like a very supportive kind group. Hopefully I'll get great advice and be able to give it also.
A couple of questions. There's a lingo on this forum and I feel like there should be a guide! What does 'to pb' mean? Other than Peanut Butter
. And DH. Darling Husband, I think? Any other terminology I should know to sound like a regular? I love the phrased "banded". Never thought of it before but it's already proving useful in real life!
