I just received my approval from Aetna. I was expecting some issues with Aetna, but I was approved on my first attempt after meeting all of Aetna's requirements. My surgery date is November 30th. My Surgeon is Dr. Geiss in Syosset, Long Island NY. Has anyone recently been banded by Dr. Geiss? I am interested in hearing about the day of the surgery and the few days afterwards. Also, how did you do with the liquid diet before the surgery.
