I just received my approval from Aetna. I was expecting some issues with Aetna, but I was approved on my first attempt after meeting all of Aetna's requirements. My surgery date is November 30th. My Surgeon is Dr. Geiss in Syosset, Long Island NY. Has anyone recently been banded by Dr. Geiss? I am interested in hearing about the day of the surgery and the few days afterwards. Also, how did you do with the liquid diet before the surgery. Thanks, Sal

I know this is off topic but i need some help. I am being banded by DR. Geiss as soon as I get approval. Who did you use for you Psych evaluation and did they take insurance? Looking hopefully for someone that takes Aetna. Thanks sal
