Anyone else follow the food guidelines without being banded?

So far I havent had much of a response on here, it is a fantastic resource for information and for that I am grateful!

I am following liquid stage at the moment, going onto mushies next week. Lost 8lb last week and dont have too much more to go

For me banding wouldnt be possible with a low BMI however the guidelines have been a good tool. Hoping I get on okay wuth mushies and continue to loose.

Anyone had success with keeping to 1 cup meals/following allowed foods without being banded??

Thanks in advance

Rebekah

I have been banded. There is no way I would be able to follow the guidelines without the band. The hunger would really get to me. Many of the guidelines are good basic diet/weight loss rules and good to follow. If your BMI is too low to get the band, you have less weight to take off than I do and that is a good thing. I wish you luck with your weight loss journey. I did hear of a therapist that has great success with hypnosis to get people to quit smoking and he is working on using hypnosis to make people believe they have a band when they really do not.
