molar root canal

hello

I was banded and was wondering if there is a problem if i take antibiotics and have a root canal procedure? I am worried. Thank You:blink:

The only reason it would be a problem is if the antibiotics are large pills. You could ask (1) if the pills can be crushed (some medications do not work properly if crushed, so always ask) or (2) for a liquid antibiotic.

Most antibiotics come in liquid form, so just ask for it.

Remember to eat before the RCT (root canal therapy) because you may be numb for awhile after.
