Just about 18 hours away from happy pills...I can not WAIT!

Just watched my recorded biggest loser premier. That sow inspires me more than words can say. AND I did great with my food choices for the 2nd day in a row. Go ME!

Have a great night ladies!

I think i'm going to increase my happy pills! Wth Dr's permission!

I love that show too, I wish I had that kind of dedication. I could be working so much harder.

I have so much to do tomorrow, but I so need to chat:crying:,

i agree with the Biggest Loser!! That and Hoarders should have me thinner and more organized in no time!!!

Since I am self employed I need to write down all my expenses and supplies, well in the end of May I by user error erased all my spreadsheet for 2009, so instead of going to KC this weekend, I am pretending I am out of town and working on the new spreadsheet!! It is a PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Jane. I chatted with Tracy a little this morning and she left before I could get an answer about the weekend in Oct. I for one will be there.

Long week ahead of me. I kinda like it that way. Keeps my mind and hands busy. I need to find a job that will do that more often.

Have a good one and I will check in when I get up in the morning.

Hi gals

Jane, I'm sorry, I have a bunch on my mind, I wanted to tell you I'm so glad to see you!

I am working on getting things together and getting my ducks in a row to be self employed, I need to set up a good system for tracking my stuff.

I am going to take my next safety class and work on updating my spanish ... this was suggestion from someone I met who is in construction. I can write it all off too

OK i'm going to bed, I am going to journal while I'm laying in bed. Stupid guys.... they just mess with me, I don't think I'm ready to start another relationship, I need to focus on me.

I need my happy pills adjusted

Morning Girls.

A new day, a new start. For all and for everything.

I had some of the goofiest dreams last night, they went right along with hubby's goofy snoring.

Jenn, you do need to take care of yourself first. You need to learn to like yourself and realize that you are your best friend. When you have that accomplished than there is NO guy out there that can take advantage of you. They will learn to respect you and take care of you. It's a hard road, but your a strong person.

Scattered rain today here and on the cool side. It will be a good week for apple picking.

I'll check in when I get off work.

I know Suzanne, and I think I've been working so hard at that I realize that I'm ok. But I don't think I'm strong enough to let myself get into a full relationship. Does that make sense? I find needy guys but I am a giver, I need my space too, I am not strong enought right now to keep giving to others all the time, a date or 2 are good, but i'm getting called pet names.... I don't think so... I am very to myself and don't like to feel like I'm being claimed, and that is how I feel.

UGH so hard to explain and I am not looking forward to explaining this one later.

Good morning everyone-

Monday  This morning the scales were -3.5. Now I only have 5 to go to get back to what my ticker says. At least it is going in the right direction now (again, lol)

Wow, so much to say and I do not know where to begin, so I guess I will just think on it a while :smile2:

Have a good day (((hugs)))

Hey guys. We need to come up with a challenge for October. This will be the worst for me. I love Fall, Halloween and apple anything. Little Smarties candies, oh my.

Jenn, I know what you are trying to say to me and I understand. I guess I'm so set in my relationship with hubby that I don't realize that I am alot like that also. I like my space and my time. But I also like a hug or a pat every now and than. The love of a good man without having to be their Mom, sister, Aunt or babysitter.

Give it time. Concentrate on the kids right now. Your relationship will happen.

I'm off to go take a little nap. Hubby kept me up several times during the night. He had a terrible snoring night. I kept hoping he would head to the couch and let me sleep. LOL.

Ugh..... I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. My alarm is set for 5:30. So here I sit, with the tv on low. Cats are fed and back to their window seats. I need to get in soon and take my shower. We leave about 7am. to go do our walk. I'm taking my camera so I will post pics later today.

Everyone have a great day and enjoy your weekend.

Suzie, it was me, sorry I was craving something sweet at 2 am.... hehehehe

Happy Monday all. We went and visited the in-laws this weekend to try and discuss Chrismas with them, they always want to do a HUGE extravaganza with tons of gifts and we have been telling them all year we wont be participating in a huge thing. We asked them to tone it down as the economy is bad, I'm not working, had 2 surgeries this year, our dog just had surgery, and hubby had a 25% pay cut and hours cut and we are not going to go into more debt over christmas. so his mom gets all upset, as does his sister, his dad is cool. But damn those 2 women all they want is gimmee gimmee gimmee gifts. Sheesh Sometimes I just want to go away over christmas so I dont have to deal with those 2.

Ok venting over......

I have an upper GI scheduled Wednesday morning to check my band. it has taken me 7 months to get an Appt with a bariatric Dr thru so cal kaiser. when my cobra ran out from my job I went on hubbys kaiser, but dang to get a band doc appt is crazy. Oh and Now his work has switched insurance plans and as of Oct 1st we no longer have kaiser. Grrrrrr so back to square one with bariatric drs. At least Im getting the GI to check band.

I can always see my Surgeon who placed the band, but he charges $350.00 to do my fills and any tests he schedules arent covered thru kaiser. so its all self pay.

Hopefully the new insurance will have bariatric covereage of some type.....

I havent gained, but I havent lost anyting is so long.....

OK time to get some stuff done around here

Shalee, I thought I heard you rummaging through the cupboards. LOL. No sweets here. I keep them out. Except for the bowl of hard candies. Give me strength to make it through Halloween.

I tried to take a nap, I probably got about 15 minute. It's storming here and the dog is scared s*#tless. Well, it was enought to take the edge off. I won't be falling asleep at class tonight.

Thanks for the update Shalee, I was wondering where you had gone off to!!! Sorry about you band fill woes.

I was not so good on the band plan Saturday and Sunday.....had cake and ice cream, then several times I had buttered popcorn......sinful!!!! I did do an extra bit on the tradmill, but of course not enough to work off all those calories, LOL!!!

Shalee, you and your hubby can come here for the holidays. Last year I think we spent about $100. We are retired and need to save what we can for taxes.

We really don't Celebrate big anyway. Hubby's Mom passed away in Dec. My Dad passed away Dec. 20th, next year my Uncle died Dec. 21st and the next year my other Uncle died Dec. 26th. There's been a few others also. So as you can see, it is a struggle to get thru the holidays. I don't need the added stress of any gimme, gimme, gimme's. I stress enough with all the baked goodies and Cookies.< /span>

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
