Honey,

It's not just doing it doggy-style. You gotta do the doggy.

Boy, there is so much mis-information on this thread.

Been there, done that. Got caught by the cops AND all 12 of the kids. What's your point?

Holy cow, I found that thread.

Ought to direct here here. She'd be better off with the info in this thread than pureeing her lasagna THREE days out! Wow...

You mean to tell me I could have eaten double stuff the whole time. Damn my nutritionist for not giving me proper information.

And you're fine as long as the doggy is small. Labs and collies yes. But great Danes will cause band slippage.

Is she a scrawny little witch??

I heard/read/made up that St. Bernard slobber can erode your band.

OMG, DON'T EAT SUSHI!! The raw fish has still got enough nerve jump in it to wrap around the band and choke you to death!!! I swear I just heard about it!!!

Well, the last one was easy since I did just that.

And found the lasagna thread. And posted.

Yeah, that happened to me! Darned crazy fish. But I don't have a band. Wonder what that was about.

OH OH OH OH

If I get my band filled SOOPER tight will it cut off the bottom of my stomach and give me the sleeve?

Because the sleeve is obviously better than the band. that's what I read and what my neighbor's cousin said.

OMG, in the Men's Room they're discussing their johnsons. I just happened to see the thread...and well, you know...curious... Eeek. I wanted to be sure they didn't have any wrong info about bands . So that's why I was there. Honest.

And Beth, it wasn't goldfish. It was those mean fishies that fight with each other. Ouch. But I did hear that they are band-safe so if you and hubby....well, ya know.

Yay, Monkey came to play in our sandbox. No poo throwing, please! And, really, honest, I only checked the johnson thread again 'cause I thought they might need my expert opinion on band things. Really.

I would think HH's response on the erm johnson thread would qualify for one of your scavenger hunt reqs.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
