Slow Losers - Unite!

Recommended Posts

Vines - I'll be the Mama - you be our Spokes Model!

Let's see 1/4 of a pound is what - 4 ounces? (16 ounces ina pound, right?) You are WAY ahead of me with your super duper 5.8 ounces a week.

I like the atomic unit thing - too bad I'm not smart enough to figure all that out. I don't think I'll go for the Stones idea( I have to admit, I've never heard of Sacks!) If I remember right, isn't a stone the equivalent of 16 pounds? If I'm losing 1/4 of a pound, that's only 1/64th of a stone! Too depressing. We have to go use the atomic units, or troy ounces or something like that.

Hey candy - our posts crossed.

Your math is right. You are losing an average of .4 pounds a week.

I have not kept track of how many members the slow losers have now. We should do a roll call.

Smart move not keeping a scale in the house!

I'm here, I'm here. I got a fill. .75 cc's. I can already feel that I'm way more restricted. Here's hoping it works!

Oh you guys!! I LOVE the Turtle Power and Turtle Spokes Model stuff. It's great. If I ever get my band, perhaps I will join your Turtle-riffic group.

Going for a slight tweak in my band this weds. oct. 19 - thinking maybe .2 or .3 - although maybe i should cancel it - i have ok restriction - I don't keep scales in the house - but i have noticied a NSV - my shirts are getting looser!! Not my pants yet - but yes my shirts are definately a little looser. i guess I should find buy a scale tomorrow to see exactly how much i've lost since my last one - and then I should cancel ? What do you think?

Ooooh, that's a toughie. I have okay restriction, too. It could be better, but I'm trying to make it work. Of course, I pay cash for fills so that definately plays into the equation. The smallest bit can make the biggest difference. I say go for it.

yes I pay cash for fills also that's why i was thinking of holding off since i could use that money to go get my hair & nails done, but then I thought no I need to put my band first and I think I need a tweak to get this to optimum level so I think I might go ahead and do it

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
