thank you both for your replies.

i had called my dr through the office emergency service (twice) but it took him hours to call back. it wasn't a headache from nerves, it was an evil bastard of a Migraine (nausea, sensitivity to light, sound, the works). neither tylenol or advil work for these kinds of headaches. i thought i was out of zomig but i found some! i was so desperate, i took one and thankfully, when the dr finally called back, he said it was okay.

*whew*

it didn't take it away completely but most of it is gone and i can function.

thank goodness.

I so hope your Migraine has left you by the time you read this. Good luck with the surgery! I suffer Migraines and I know how miserable they can be. Mine last 3 or 4 days. So glad to hear that your doc called and that you found the missing drug .

Happy Banding,

TPG

At my pre-op visit my surgeon gave me a list of medications that I should never take again. Naproxin is on that list. Is your surgeon aware that you are taking these meds?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
