Well, I am all set for next Monday, the 27th.
I started the process back in April. Got approved in late April, but delayed due to a two week trip out of the country in June. The fear was that I would hit a very hungry stage while I was over there. So I started pre-op diet on July 7th, once we returned from overseas.
Was all set for Monday of this week (the 20th), but was canceled late Friday due to an issue with EKG. I had an angiogram yesterday and it appears I had a false positive on the stress test I had last Friday.... That was good news, so hopefully all systems are go!!!
I might have a record for time on the pre-op diet!
