Just curious if anyone has used him and if there is any information on this doctor. I was unable to use my doctor of choice because I am having to pay for the surgery myself and my doctor of choice did not accept the financing that I was using.

I used Dr Sonny Cavazos who's head of bariatrics at Northeast Baptist; there's a section here for surgeons (it's a forum, you can scroll down) but I don't think anyone has posted there about Dr. Patel.

My dr in corpus had said great things about him. Ive also heard good things from other in town. Hope that helps...:thumbup:

I am in San antronio, I went with South Texas Surgeons. I was told there were #1 in lap band . The staff is not the greatest but i do like the doctor. My doc is doctor Gerald Carcamo. He works with Dr Keneth Wright, he is a sweet man. The cost of the procedure is 15,000. God luck to you, i wish you the best!!:confused:
