I'm new at this and I need help

I have only lost 44lbs since January 21, 2009. I know that is a lot, but I want it to go faster. I have a sweet tooth and this last month I have gained about 5lbs. I have only had 2 fills and that was 2cc. Please give me some advise?

I am also new at this, but if I was you I would go in for another fill. From what understand, as you loose weight you also loose fat around your tummy and your band loosens up. That is why you need to go in and get maintenance fills after you start loosing weight.

So, my suggest is.... go see your doctor!

Good luck and keep up the good work.

Definitely go in for a fill. That will help a lot. Also ... stay away from the sweets. Those are often slider foods that will go down easily no matter how restricted you are. Those darn sweets kept me on a 10 week plateau last Fall. On the other hand, I'm a firm believer in not depriving yourself. An occasional PLANNED sweet is probably ok. When you have it, enjoy it like it is your last forever. I enjoyed half a serving of chocolate cheesecake last week. I can still remember it. Lost 4 lbs anyway that week. Go Figure!
