I have to have my band removed and my surgeon advised the sleeve. He is going to plead a case to my insurance, St. Mary's, and see if they will approve the surgery. My question is if anyone has this insurance, and had this revision if they were approved for it. I am so excited and it will be a few days before I hear anything so I thought I would just put it out there and see if anyone had any info! Thank you so much!

I had my band taken out in April and I could not be happier. I love my sleeve. I feel so much more normal now. No more food getting stuck, no more fills , no more unfills, no more worrying that I took my medication too late and that it would come back up in the middle of the night. I just eat small portions of any food I want, just like the band was SUPPOSED to work!
