Dr. Milton Owens - ANYONE KNOW OF DR OWENS in SAN DIEGO, CA?

I have not seen his name once, makes me wonder why??????????/

I have been approved for 2 weeks and still have not been scheduled. If I don't get scheduled this week (I keep calling but can never reach the person in charge of my file) does anyone think I can take my letter of approval to a different dr? It is addressed to Dr. Owens.

I'm new at this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi..yes Dr. Owens does the surgery in san diego for Alvarado Hospital...but his practice and office are in San Pedro. He does not come down to San diego often, once a month. I had surgery from him in san pedro and i live in san diego and do the fills when he comes...he is a GREAT dr...and I have been so successful....- 161 pounds in 1 year 4 months. Call the san pedro office..coastal center for obesity...HE is soo suportive and helpful...

I live in san diego county also and had my surgery done by Dr. Owens. Him and his staff were wonderful. I have Tricare so I went to see him for my consult Feb 19 2008 and they had me approved within 2 weekes and had my surgery March 25 2008. I traveled to his San Pedro office just so I wouldnt have to wait longer. Overall great experience with everyone with the coastal center for obesity.
